Early dinner recs near Shoreline Amphitheatre
Going to see Bjork tomorrow night, opening act starts at 6pm. Just wondering if there's any moderately priced good eats near this venue as I've never been there before. Otherwise, we'll eat in Berkeley before we go.
Thanks!

I agree, Castro St. in Mtn. View is down Shoreline Blvd. and has lots of good affordable dining options. Plenty of Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, and Korean restaurants.

Hmmm ... from my general impression, you seem to favor upscale joints ... Redwood City is known for its Mexican dives ... so if interested in that ...
One place that I really have on my list from all of Melanie's posts and others on the board is Back-a-yard in Menlo Park. If I was headed that way it would be the first place I would stop. The ambiance is nothing, but the food is top-notch.

re: rworange
Shoreline is in Mountain View and not too far from downtown which has some pretty good food options from what I have heard. Taqueria El Grullense has a new restaurant w/ a full bar on Castro St. (the hub of Mtn View's downtown) that is really great and cheap too. El Grullense is the home of some of the best tacos in the universe and some of the best salsa too. I have been going these spots since I was a kid. In Redwood City they are the undisputed Don of the local taco mafia. Have fun at Bjork, should be a great show.
