K & L Wine Hollywood grand opening event will occur Saturday afternoon, June 9 at 1400 N Vine in Hollywood: walk-around wine tasting with producers such as Caymus Vineyards, Chateau Montelena, WH Smith, Talley Vineyards, Lewis Cellars, Etude, Opus One, Villa Creek and more. Porchetta from Lou On Vine, cheese from Cheese Shop of BH, fruit from the Hollywood Farmer’s Market. $65 each in advance - www.klwines.com

      And very underwhelming, btw!
      Need more inventory, and the Thursday tasting I went to was the most anemic I could have ever imagined.
      And the store is soooooo sterile, it makes you want to walk out immediately. Talk about plain Jane!
      Liked their NoCal units when I lived up there, yet this one is so cold, uninspired, etal.!

        Yeah, when I went, I could not see what the big deal was, I perfer Wine Country in LB than it...

          Even though Wine Country is waaaay far from Sherman Oaks, I have actually gone to two tastings there, yet have trouble imagining why I would go to another tasting at K&L, unless the wines were VERY special and the price plausible.
          Otherwise, back to the usual spots.
