Best beer store near Merriweather Post Pavilion?

I'm going to the big concert Friday night at Merriweather Post Pavilion and I wanted to find out if there was a good beer store near the venue. I am specifically looking for Sam Adams cream stout. The distributor in Virginia doesn't offer it, so I wanted to stop off and pick some up. I could just check a grocery store, but some of you may know where to pick some up.

  1. Just checking a grocery store wouldn't do you any good anyway, as they don't sell beer in this part of Maryland.

I think Allview should have it, they have a fairly large collection.

I'm glad you mentioned that. I don't make it up to Maryland that often, so I appreciate the tip.

      2. The liquor store in the Wilde Lake Village Center (Absolutely Wine and Spirits, 410-992-6611) is probably the closest liquor store to Merriwether; the one in the the Hickory Ridge Village Center (Decanter Fine Wines, 410-531-6663) is also close, especially if coming from the south, and has a slightly better selection.

They are a huge store, they have just about every kind of beer you can imagine. If you call ahead of time, and they don't stock it, they will most likley be able to order it for you. Plus they are open on Sundays are real rairty in Maryland.
