njnjron May 17, 2007 03:44 AM

We would like a nice place for a small retirement luncheon in Oakhurst- NJ located in Monmouth County near Asbury Park. We would like to have a great lunch and a few drinks with our meals- This is planned for around noon in June- so we would appreciate any help. Thanks

Thank you for the great suggestions- we are going to call Piccola Italia and try them for a retirement dinner in June. Thank you again- will report back later and let everyone know how it went.

I agree with Angelina. We had our rehearsal dinner at Piccola Italia. The food is always excellent!

It is in the Cobblestone Village shopping center. Cross street is West park Avenue.

          (Route 35 south bound side)

Ho about Piccola Italia? Located right off of Rt. 35 in Ocean Township? Right before Asbury? The food is great, they have a liquor license...check it out below and see if you like it.

        I love the place!

Another good option is Manhattan Steakhouse on RT. 35.

I thought of Manhattan Steakhouse, but I didn't think they were open for lunch. So, I checked their website. Looks as though I'm right. Unless that's changed and they haven't updated?

RGR - Your correct. I called and confirmed. However, I remember seeing a sign out front saying they were open for lunch. Here is an old website confirming that fact. http://members.aol.com/sunsetdecks/my...
They must have recently changed. Sorry.
