Going to a concert with the girl tomorrow night and she is a health nut. Any good restarurants on or around UCLA for health food?

What do you consider healthy? I ask because there are sushi places nearby and that would seem reasonably healthy. And there are Persian and Lebanese restaurants that would seem to have healthy options on the menu.

California chicken cafe on Westwood between Santa Monica and Olympic. They have rotisserie style chicken, salads, wraps and lots of good healthy sides.

Depends upon "healthy," as has been said, and Native Foods is vegan, but not necessarily "healthy," at least for me!

          In the village...
          Nature's Way Cafe on Lindbrook
Gardens on Glendon has healthy options.
Westwood Brewing Co has great fish tacos
Mongolian BBQ can be healthy if you avoid oil.

Outside the village, a few different ideas..
          Jack Spratt's Grille on Pico.
          Second Cal Chick Cafe rec.
Sisley's Italian Kitchen has great salads and a great grilled veggie appetizer.

I'll second Jack Sprat's -- the food is pretty good. I'm not so sure about taking a date there, but the food isn't bad for salads, sandwiches, adn those "healthy" fries.

Just saw a 15% discount coupon in LA Times Week-end Section for Jack Sprat's this morning.

1)hard to get a table in this TINY restaurant, but it for health oriented food it's imho the best
            native foods
2)also, shamshiri grill on westwood blvd offers a large vegetarian menu, and lots of side dishes that would be considered healthy. unlike native foods this is a 'regular' restaurant with lots of tables and servers. resaonably priced. because they only serve white rice, though, some would nix it.

Native Foods is a good choice, with the sandwiches (BLTease) and Bowls being the best options.

I am a fan of the Falefel King as well, combo plate for $8 with chicken breast, salad or rice, hummus and veggies.

Good Earth is decent, but seems a bit overpriced for level of quality, and the service is AWFUL

Numerous Sushi places thoughout Westwood Village are also good.
