Opus - Baco Tuesday

Finally tried The Baco last night. Fried pork belly and short rib carnitas served with a "pico de gallo" and some yummy sauce spread on a flatbread. Very very very delicious! If noone was around, I would have rolled that puppy up and eaten the whole thing by hand.

Had a nice bottle of sparkling shiraz too.

Our server Travis rocked.

  1. yum! i'm drooling..........

    1. Bacos are a thing of great beauty! I can skip the tofu one but we usually can't decide which of the others to get and invariably end up getting them all. Fantastic value, too.

      1. jealous! I've been wanting to go for so long! You've inspired me to get off my tush and go this Tuesday.

        1. Actually, I think you're supposed to (or at least encouraged to) eat it that way (i.e. rolled up and by hand.) Kind of like you would a taco, right?

I found the fried pork belly ones to be quite tasty but really far too rich and greasy for more than a bite or two. The rest were good.
