The Happy Bamboo, SJ - Vegan Vietnamese and Hungarian (goulash) - any reports?
It's been about a year (or more?) since I've been there. I liked the rice plates & entrees better than the noodle soups, because I don't like the vegetarian gio lua (steamed pork "bologna"), and I prefer meat based broths to veggie broths. The banh mi is fairly good, but pricey (like $4 for the same kind you can get for ~$2 elsewhere). Service is ultra-friendly, almost overbearing but in a sweet way. I recommended it to a vegetarian co-worker and she liked it. I wouldn't go out of my way for it though.
