Lobster Shacks in the Hamptons

Ended up going w/ Brewsters. The service was kind of eh, but the food more than made up for it! Thanks for all of your suggestions, we'll definitely be heading back there.

Buoy One in Riverhead...across from Snowflake has lobster bakes to go, for delivery or they will cook them right at your house. All three options seemed to be very reasonable in price.

When we are staying at the marina at Meschutt Beach, we get a takeout clambake with lobster from Brewster's in Hampton Bays. Food has always been good.

That's a great suggestion, because I usually stay in Hampton Bays. Do I need to place the order beforehand, or can I just run in?

I would suggest that you call it in ahead, or better yet place the order in person, because it gets very busy just around dinner time with people doing takeouts.

Hey Fred - do you have any other info on Brewsters? I can't find it online (phone number, etc). Is it definitely Hampton Bays, or is it one of the surrounding towns?

I think Cor J is just a seafood market, maybe they have to go, but there is a restaurant behind them which used to be good seafood. I just read a review as there are new owners, but can't remember details or the name unfortunately.

The restaurant part was OK when it was Tully's, and fair when it was the Blue Lobster.
