Jack In the Box shakes?

QueenB May 16, 2007 05:30 AM

I'm in the mood for a milkshake. How are the shakes from Jack In the Box? I've never had them and was wondering if they were good? The commercials have totally sucked me in. Which flavors are the best?

I like Jack in the Box shakes.Think Denny's is better though but thats me.Denny's is more like a true old fashion shake I think plus you get the extra in the metal mixer which is like another free shake.

Gotta go for the Oreo shake. Others are ok, but Oreo are the bomb.

The shakes can vary from location to location, hopefully the one near you makes the shakes nice and thick, can't stand a runny shake. It should be a chore to suck it through the straw.

I got the Oreo and it was impossible to suck through the straw. Really tasty milkshake!

Had underlying thought how good this would be with mint.

Yeah, I like Jack in the box shakes. They put whipped cream on top and a cherry. The current flavor of the month ... raspberry ... is good. I would say chocolate or vanilla on the regular menu are my favs. Usually the flavor of the month is good though.

We had to stop at a Jack In The Box driving through the Central Valley... the wife had the new Andes Mint shake.... pretty damn good if you like Chocolate - Mint flavor combinations.

The only one I"ve ever had was the Egg Nog one during hte holidays...I very rarely have a milkshake(once every few years kind of thing) but my husband really wanted to try this...and it was delicious! It took a lot of willpower to not have anymore while they were available....definitely gave me the impression the other shakes must be good as well!

Pumkin is seaonal and the best by far-- Oreo is an old standby*

We were just comign home from Costco and saw the "Blackberry Shakes" banner across the local JITB...so had to swing through the drive through to try one.

If you like their shakes and you like blackberry don't miss this flavor. It was pretty good!

I had a great rootbeer float there last year. Frothy and delicious!

They all sound good, but get the tacos and onion rings too.

I was visiting San Diego from Toronto Canada and we don't get Jack in the Box here. I must say the Blackberry shake was amazing, perfect consistency and so goood!!

I adore the eggnog shakes they do during the holidays. Totally addicting, and walking the convention floor in Vegas with one, had about 10 offers from people to buy it off of me! It was even half-drunk, and they didn't care! This con was the Cowboy Christmas, the first week of December- lest my fellow CH'ers think i'm wandering around some questionable event in Sin City! *LOL*
