been there several times...VERY highly recommended. Great steaks with a choice of 11 different sauces and 2 sides (lobster corn mash/truffled mac&cheese are my personal faves)..... they also have some great burgers and their fish entrees are terrific. give it a try!

Is "Rarely Legal" the name of a restaurant? If so, where is it? I suppose that anybody who has been "there", wherever "there" is, may know what you're talking about, but even so, the question is so terse that I've been waiting for somebody to post a reply consisting of the word "yes" or "no", as the case may be.

Care to give us a few more clues? Help us help you!

A Google search turns up a Bethesda steak house by that name. I've never been.

I went there while out in Bethesda on a business trip. Went at lunch during their "soft opening" week and had a pretty tasty "triple prime" burger--cooked rare (natch).8 ozs and a very good deal for ~$10. Mind you this was 5 weeks ago. Got the impression that once they were fully up and running, it would be a full-fledged steak house. By now, I'm sure the Larry Flynt jokes have gotten old for the wait staff. To the original poster--give it a shot!
