Churrascarias?

I am looking for a special place for my graduation dinner. My husband said he would take me anywhere I wanted to go when I finally finished my last class (which i was dragging my feet on because it was much more fun to find recipes and make them). Anyway, I was thinking Churrascaria, but I don't know of any good ones in the area, and also, I don't think we want to spend more than about 70-80 dollars (we don't drink alcohol, so that should help). Suggestions?

Espetus is good. It used to be $35 a head at dinner, not sure if prices have gone up.

Would Espetus be appropriate for a birthday dinner? My husband is turning 37 and I've been racking my brain for where to take him. He loves good steak, but I wanted to take him someplace a little more fun than just a steakhouse, since I can make a good steak at home for a lot less than steakhouses charge. Any other suggestions are greatly appreciated!

It's a fun change of pace.

A few years ago, eighteen of us celebrated a birthday dinner at Espetus. It was definitely fun, though we had to wait for our table for a while (it should be better now that it's a larger space).

Thanks for the info. It sounds like it'll be fun. I made an early reservation (5:00) since I have plans for us afterwards, so we should be able to get right in.

It's usually very fun and the service has been pretty good the last couple times I've gone. Don't forget to try the chicken hearts and grilled pineapple.

In other Churrascarria wishes, I'm hoping Fogo De Chao will open a branch in the Bay Area...
