Good Taco Joint in Quakertown

What a nice surprise! It's called Tacos La Mexicana- a tiny, no-atmosphere joint on Broad Street in the old part of town, across from Pancho Villa. There aren't that many things on the menu-- some tacos (asada, pork, tongue, some other kind of beef that I forget, chicken), some tortas, and a few platters, but it's good homemade clean cheap food! They make their own tortillas. They care. They're nice. A plate of three tacos is around $5.50. PLUS in their soda case, among the bottled sodas, is Mexican Coke. That means it's the real thing, sweetened with sugar instead of corn syrup, and tastes clean and pure the way coke used to be. I think they could use more customers. I really want them to make it.
Thanks for the info! Next time I'm back up there visiting, I'll definitely try it out and see how it compares to stuff here in TX. I noticed before I moved that more Mexican places were opening in Q-town. Very happy to see that.
I am moving to the area in the fall and was lamenting the lack of good chow. This sounds right up my alley. Hopefully, you and I can keep them afloat.
