I LOVE PIZZA. Driving to DeFazio's and picking up a killer pie to bring home, sitting at the Orchard with a jalapeno/anchovy masterpiece, dropping in at Sovrana for a fat doughy slice, all mmmmm. I love making pizza at home also, I use a Fibrament stone and crank my oven to 550, San Marzano canned tomatoes that Ragonese sells, sea salt, EVOO (yeah yeah), hydroponic basil, sometimes make my own dough but the Prinzo dough is so good and readily available that I use that a lot, but the one grail for me lately has been buffalo mozzarella. This morning at the Honest Weight Food Co-op I was excited to see imported buffalo mozzarella for $9.75 a container, looks like tonight is PIZZA NIGHT!

In addition to buffalo mozzarella (check the date), Honest Weight always has fresh regular mozzarella, and excellent ricotta. (I like a white pizza w/ ricotta, spinach, garlic & mushrooms)
