Looking for recommendations for a hip, fun, not-TOO-expensive birthday dinner spot for two twenty-somethings in a few weeks. I live in southern Palm Beach County, but we're willing to go anywhere from Jupiter to Hollywood. I was thinking about Johnny V's on Las Olas. Can anyone weigh in? What about hitting up Seventh Street Wine (http://seventhstreetwine.com/Main/hom...) beforehand? I don't want to spend an arm and a leg (i.e. Cafe Martorano) but am willing to spend a couple hundred dollars for a memorable evening.

Thanks!

CHECK OUT HOLLYWOOD YOUNG CIRCLE AREA. THERE ARE ALOT OF NEW PLACES THERE NOW, MANY WITH OUTSIDE CAFES. CAN'T GO WRONG AT THE HARD ROCK...LOTS OF CLUBS, RESTAURANTS & SHOPS.

Some of my special places: One of my all time favorites in Fort Lauderdale is Cafe Vico....very special and delicious, great place and service. Blue Moon Fish Co. on Commercial is a good place for a birthday dinner....phenomenal food, view, service. I've been to Johnny V's and it was one of the best (lunch) dining experiences I've had in SoFla. Eduardo San Angel is an upscale gourmet Mexican restaurant that is beautiful and extremely special. If you want to venture to North Miami Beach, the Fish Joynt is great. Hope this is a good start!! Happy birthday!
