Help! I need to plan a babyshower in June/July and am looking for someplace to have a brunch or lunch in Northern NJ or Rockland County. I am on a budget, looking to spend about $25 pp. I will have approx. 45 guests.

Went to a lovely brunch baby shower for my sister-in-law a few weeks ago at a restaurant in Ridgewood - not sure if that is too far for you though. Restaurant was Bazzini at 28 Oak. We had the place to ourselves (they are not open for lunch) and the food was excellent! I believe price was very reasonable (although I didnt pay, but heard from my mother-in-law). Chef/Owner was very gracious - I'd definitely recommend.

Pasta Cucina does great showers. They have 3 locations in Rockland (New City, Stony Point & Suffern) You can't go wrong there! I like the New City location the best.

i agree with Bazzini at 28 oak street. Great place for dinner as well as a party. Owner is very pleasant and accomodating. We have friends who own a company who have many functions there. Our neighbor also had their child's christening reception there-very happy. www.bazzini28oakstreet.com
