I had a really moist and perfect Whoopie Pie at Auntie Em’s Kitchen several weeks ago with there great coffee before having a great breakfast there. I went back last week for a steak salad dinner and what? No Whoopie Pies? They only make them on a baker's whim or by special order with a 48 hr advance notice. Well, I will order some at Auntie Em’s but an urge for whoopie cannot really wait 48 hours, and so, I would like to know if there are any good Whoopie Pies made daily out there? Also, I just read on the Boston Board that a peanut butter Whoopie Pie can be found in Mass. Any in L.A.?

these might be similar to whoopie pies, at least what i have heard of them. go to The Farm of Beverly Hills. get the "Farmeo" cookie. the BEST thing i have ever eaten. two super super soft chocolate cookies (very dark as well) with yum yummy buttercream frosting in the middle as the "white stuff" TO.DIE.FOR. :)
I'd asked about the whoopie pies the last time I was at Auntie Em's as well, ,but it sounded as if the woman at the counter wasn't such a fan. I opted for the cupcakes instead...
In any case, I've seen them consistently at Susiecakes. Clementine makes something akin to whoopie pies-- only instead of chocolate cookies/cakes, they're oatmeal.
