Does anyone know why Park Slope's Chip Shop was cut in half? The food is still as wonderful, of course. But I wondered why they had to cut back.

I think it was something about the indian curry side of the business they had (which I didn't even know about). Decision to stick with just chip shop stuff somehow also translated to cutting down the size of the place as well.

Yes. A few months ago, the ChipShop owners decided to close down the "Curry Shop" side of the business. A turkish place has moved in to that space, but I've never been. Some good things have been said about it on this board.
