where to buy clotted cream

Zengarden May 12, 2007 04:50 PM

Just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction. I know that it is possible to make a facsimile of it but I wanted to know if I could just purchase this in the downtown area.

I know that you can buy it at any Loblaws or Superstore in the dairy section. Bruno's or any other specialty/fine foods shop should carry it as well.

I've seen it in the Sobey's on Yonge and St. Clair

I was in the Danforth today and I think I saw it at Alex Farms

You can buy it here, Loblaws, St Lawrence market to name a few but to be honest it isn't a patch on the real thing. If you've ever had the real stuff you'll be really disapointed with what you can get here.

For sure they have English imported at the Cheese Boutique (not really downtown). Most of the downtown stuff I've seen has been flavoured (usually with orange liqueur).
