I'm having a BBQ next weekend and I was hoping you all could help me with some good blended/frozen drink recipes. I'll probably stick with something simple like a nice G&T for myself, but my wife and her friends prefer something from the blender.

Thanks

Here's a good one:

1 cup Charbay ruby red grapefruit vodka
1/2 cup Alize Wild Passion

Combine in blender, add ice, blend, enjoy! Refreshing, but go easy...it tends to sneak up on you!

I use the Tokyo Fog for all my BBQ needs.

It's just equal parts coffee, bourbon, and vanilla ice cream. Let the coffee melt the ice cream as you're stirring together then toss it in the freezer overnight. The bourbon will keep it from re-freezing but it will take on a nice sort of milkshake consistency. As with the other posters drink this one should be consumed carefully. It pretty much tastes like a coffee shake with little hint of the bourbon.

Yum! Any favorite bourbon?

To OP: ask your wife if they would prefer something fruity or creamy. I think blended drinks usually fall into one or the other category. Fruity would be daiquiris, margaritas, or any assortment of frozen fruit with choice of alcohol (vodka, usually). Creamy would involve ice cream along with coffee and/or chocolate.
