The only restaurant buffet worth eating at is West Coast Seafood, 1655 S. Azusa Ave. in Hacienda Heights. Light years better than Todai and significantly cheaper too. World Buffet's West Covina branch at 1003 S. Glendora Ave. in the Hong Kong Market shopping center is probably next best, but unless you live close by it's not worth the drive. They had an Alhambra branch but that became Golden Coast (2223 W. Commonwealth), which is a large cut below what World Buffet had been. Super King at 10632 Lower Azusa Road in El Monte used to be good but they had a change in ownership and started serving less authentic fare. Don't even bother with Zen Buffet in Rosemead or International Buffet in Montebello. Too bad Sea Star in Alhambra closed down.

The buffet at the Hilton in San Gabriel is supposed to be decent.

No, the one at Universal Hilton is way better and cheaper and more food. But, if you don't want to drive, go to the one in San Gabriel. Personally, I don't think it is worth it.

I actually prefer the San Gabriel Hilton to the Universal Hilton weekend dinner buffet. But I do question whether either one is truly worth the hefty tab.
