WOW - that may have been the wettest, sloppiest, sweetest thing I have stuck in mouth for a while. I'm salivating just thinking about it. I'm no expert, but the one I purchased was quite soft to the touch - it almost felt overripe. The flesh was golden colored and while I'd love to be able to give a description like this: "it exhibited notes of Salman Rushdie's head sweat , overripened Alaskan butterscotch and the musk of an adolescent female tapir", all I can tell you is that it was much sweeter than the other mangos I remember eating.
