I was wondering if anyone had recommendations about beautiful Estancias in the outskirts of BA that also served wonderful food?

My friends had good things to say about the food at Los Dos Hermanos. Lunch was apparently a 7-course meat extravaganza, but the thing they raved about was the empanadas.

I had delicious food at Estancia Santa Rita. Lunch was stuffed pork (from pigs raised on the premises) and roasted root vegetables; dinner was homemade ravioli with vegetables and creamy sauce and grated cheese; lunch the next day was typical asado and roasted vegetables. All was super delicious! All the meat was a little too well-done for my liking, but that's typical in Argentina... and before each meal we had home-made empanadas and they were the best ones I've ever had!
