Anybody been to Wakatay?

I often go to the Marukai grocery in Gardena, and have noticed a new Japanese/Peruvian place (Wakatay) in the same shopping center. Has anyone tried it? I looked at the menu and it has all the Peruvian standards--most of which leave me indifferent, unless the ceviche they've got tastes as good as they make it in Lima. I've never actually seen any action there, but I usually have to come by at a non-meal time. And after I looked at the menu there, the little ladies at the Mikawaya mochi store asked me what kind of restaurant it was.

1630 Redondo Beach Blvd., Gardena.

So I finally managed to eat at Wakatay, and was very pleased. I had the ceviche mixta, and it was as closer to the ceviche I've had in Peru than anywhere else I've tried. It was listed as one of the appetisers, though.
My wife was a little skeptical about trying a new place, so she just ordered some pesto, but that was very good also. And we had some Yuca fries, which were good. So--we only tried a couple of things, but what we had was good Service was okay, though the waiter forgot my order of chicha morada, but brought it quickly when I asked.
