I'm going to Las Vegas with a few friends in a couple of weeks. Looking for recommendations on really good restaurants to check out. We're going to Picasso one night but would welcome any suggestions. Doesn't matter what kind of food as long as it's exceptional.

Thanks!

I loved the dim sum at Cathay House in Vegas' Chinatown, but go early (when I was there in November they opened at 10:30 a.m.) because it gets very crowded very quickly. Their bbq pork buns, shrimp rolls, veggie wraps......oh yum.......don't get me started! Two of us ate until absolutely ready to burst and the total tab was just a little over $20. Also enjoyed Chin Chin at New York, New York. Can you tell I'm deprived of good Asian food where I live?

Tasting menu at Aureole in Mandalay Bay is a transporting experience, especially with the wine pairings.
Mon Ami Gabi at the Paris is always good and what's not to like about the outdoor tables with a view of the Bellagio fountains?
Off the Strip and out in the 'burbs, Rosemary's is fantastic. On Wed nights, ladies dine for half price.
Have a great time!
