Carrying food on a domestic flight...TOMORROW

I'm flying to VA tomorrow, and have some specialty bakery items I'm bringing with....a couple loaves of bread and a box of cookies.

Am I okay just carrying these items on in a plastic bag? Do I need to check them in my bag??

Please help!

    My mother just brought back a five pound bag of French bread flour as carry-on from London. They didn't blink an eye so you should be okay!

      Food should be fine to carry on, its liquids that are the problem.

        You will definately be good to go...flew out of Long Beach last week with pastries and other food...went thru security with it....no problem,,,,just liquids over three ounces is a problem. Any liquids 3 ounces and under, put them in a zip lock baggie
