McD's Sweet Tea

Is it any good? How about their Caramel Iced coffee? Looking for an alternative to my usual summer drink of half lemonade/half diet coke that I concoct in there.

Vile. Diabetes in a paper cup. Absolutely the sweetest liquid I've ever put in my mouth. We both spat it right back into the cup and threw them out. My wife said it reminded her of science class, when you kept dissolving more and more sugar in a beaker of water until it super-saturated and formed a precipitate. I've had sweet tea in the south, and it was nowhere near as sweet as this.

So.....you didn't like it then? Gotcha. Different parts of the South and different people in the South prefer their tea with different levels of sweetness. McDonald's does a pretty good job of gearing what it sells to the customers who buy it regularly. No claims from me about it being healhty....but, when you get down to it, its probably better that a Coke on that count.

What's the "sweet" in their sweet tea?

I think McD's sweet tea is really good. It's almost addictive! It reminds me of the tea my grandmother used to make.

If you like Sweet Tea, McDonald's' is actually quite good. haven't had the iced coffee (and since I don't like sweet coffee, I doubt I will).
