"Cafe on the Green" Danbury, CT

I just learned My wife and I will be going there for an after-graduation lunch for our neice, who is graduating from college next Sunday, May 20th. I checked out their website, looks nice. Northern Italian menu which looks pretty good. My question, have any chowhounders eaten there, and if so, what are your thoughts on the place, as far as both the food and the atmosphere goes.

the food is ok for the price . Service is very good, not rushed. Views are very nice too.

Yes, we had a nice lunch there that day. The food was good, average I'd say, but as luv2eatct indicated, very friendly service in a pretty setting.

It's the restaurant at the Danbury public golf course - I know pople that really like it, my opinion is very fair
