Anything worthwhile in Germantown?

Anyone have good suggestions for great chow in Germantown, MD? We just recently moved there...and obviously it lacks compared to the Rockville area, but there has to be something, right? :)

I've got a couple of co-workers who live in Germantown and I've heard good things about Agrodolce. I've been there for lunch and the food was pretty tasty for Germantown.

That's about all I can think of

Peking Palace is the area's only source for authentic Hunan cuisine. Friendly staff can help you wade through the over 200 item Chinese-only menu. (There is also a standard Chinese-American menu). See link below....

Mi Rancho on 118 is ok; nice patio, reasonable prices. Dutch Market on Wisteria for great fried chicken, baked goods, etc. There is a deli/bagel place on 118 as well that I heard is acceptable.

Try Yuraku for great Japanese food, they have a lunch buffet for around $11 during the weekdays and the restaurant is always packed. I can't remember the names of the Pho restaurant and the Indian restaurant in the same plaza as Yuraku but they were really good as well. In the Germantown Commons there is the French Quarter Café which has wonderful Po boys.

I love French Quarter... everything I've had there is yummy. Royal Bagel bakery for bagels and pastries. Johnny's Kabob (not sure of name) in the old shopping center behind the Bed Bath & Beyond. Lots of people also like Caspian Cafe on 355 (not my personal fave). You're not far from the Kentlands and Gaithersburg stuff as well.
