BYOs in the Plateau

We are once again returning to Old Montreal. We love the plateau and all its BYO restos. Our favorite there is Les Heritiers, as well as Les Infideles and Le P'tit Plateau. What others should we try? Any suggestions? We enjoy BYOs and small French bistro places. When dining at Les Remparts once, our waiter said he liked a restaurant (that I thought he said was a couple of blocks away), but I cannot recall the name (must have been the wine)!! I thought it was similar-sounding to Le P'tit Plateau. He did say it was a BYO, that I remember. Anyone have any ideas as to what it might be? Although we're staying in Old Montreal, it's a short car ride to the plateau. Chowhounds...please weigh in on your favorites! Thanks so much!

    Hi Shopgirl,
Glad you enjoy Mtl so much. For a nice BYO in Le plateau area, i recommend A L'Os on blvd Saint Laurent.
    Bon appetit

BYO Le Bleu Raisin is right up your alley.

Worthy small French bistros are legion: Au Cinquième Péché, Les Trois Petits Bouchons, Cuisine et Dépendance, Paris Beurre, La Montée de Lait, Brunoise, Truffert Bistro de Christophe, La Gaudirole, Cocagne, and the list goes on.

My guess is your waiter was talking about Au Petit Resto (4650 de Mentana, 514 598-7963). Not bad but no Le P'tit Plateau.

Thanks, Chowhounds. Not going until June, but I'll be sure to report back! So, Le Bleu Raisin right up my alley? Hmm...long list...care to elaborate? And yes, I DO LOVE MONTREAL!!! What does it take to become a citizen? :-)
I can understand your comment, carswell....Le P'tit Plateau was wonderful! And the owners -- what a great experience!
