after finding meat in my senor fish vegie tacos twice, i'm thinking i need to find a new lunch spot...
i have grown a bit weary of the orean health express drive-thru in alta dena, taco spot on colorado and the whole foods in glendale.
help!

Union Bakery on Fair Oaks has lunch specials, like a spinach and cheese quiche w/ salad, for around $5.

Also try Europane, LoveBirds Bakery, and Famima! They all have vegetarian versions of salads/sandwiches, and above all, delicious baked goods.

if you can make your way to boyle heights, definitely go to HOMEGIRL CAFE.
they have very innovative, fresh, clean-tasting food that has been inspired by mexican cooking.
      Homegirl Cafe, 1818 E. First Street, Los Angeles, CA 90033, (323) 268 9353

i believe they close at 4 pm daily
