Baby Friendly Eateries- Vancouver

Hi All,

Will be visiting the grandparents’ end of May who live in the West End. Hubby and I are familiar with the Vancouver eats scene and would never impart our three month old on other diners in a nice place. With that being said, what do you locals think are the best options for a new family to chow at for lunch and dinner? Baby is so young food is not an issue for him as he will get the bottle, Mom and Dad love all sorts of ethnic cuisines, Korean, Indian, Japanese etc...

Thanks in advance!

Leanne

  1. Definitely try the Rocky Mountain Flatbread Co in Kitsilano, probably one of the most child friendly/tolerant places we have been to with our young 'un. The food is really good too, organic pizzas & pastas with lots of emphasis on local producers. It's a lottery of course with most restaurants when you have a baby/toddler in tow, we have had some good experiences & some not so good - we took our 2.5yo to Pulcinella in Calgary this weekend, the place was near empty as it was mid-afternoon, but the staff made every effort to accomodate us & it was an excellent, enjoyable experience & my daughter loved the food. Wouldn't dream of taking her there though if it was packed out.
