  1. My favorite restaurant just happens to be in Eagle Rock.... Casa Bianca Pizza Pie on Colorado. The environment is low key and cozy, best pizza in town (along with many other delicious Italian dishes and great apps), and they have good table wine (the chianti is yumm!). I've gone there for my birthday for the past two years. Its super fun and not at all expensive :-)

you could go to the Colorodo Wine Company (2114 Colorado Blvd) for wine by the glass (http://www.cowineco.com/content381.html) and then head to Casa Bianca (just east at 1650 Colorado Blvd) afterwards!

    2. Columbo's hasa been around forever. The atmosphere is old school steakhouse. Drinks are strong, usually there is Live Jazz or singers. My fav's on the menu are: Lasagna, calimari & the hamburger wich is on the bar menu.

Also in Montrose there is Bistro Verdu. A small plates type of place. With lots of good wine by the glass. They could probably accomodate 7.

      1. For a bit of old school surf 'n' turf and cocktails, try Stony Point, up Colorado just east of Eagle Rock--technically in Pasadena, I believe.

Like setting the wayback machine for Stepford, circa 1971.
