Sweet tamales in Seattle?

Anyone know where to find sweet tamales in the Seattle area? Pachanga in Bothell had them but it looks like they're not open anymore. They had 3 different flavors - pineapple coconut, cinnamon raisin, and strawberry. The pineapple cococonut were so delicious and I miss them.

Sorry, I just saw the other post about green tamales. Didn't read that one before posting.

  1. You can buy them in the nondescript Mexican grocery in the Market. I haven't been there for a while, however, so am not sure they are still available. And there was only one type of dulce (although also pork and chicken)

    1. On occasion I buy frozen butter tamales from El Salvador at a 'Mercado' on Hwy 99 in north Lynnwood. They are lightly sweetened but not flavored. I usually flavor them like pancakes.

The shop I have in mind is just south of Seaview Chevrolet and the license place.

Come to think of it, there is another place on Hwy 99, Plaza Latino in Shoreline where I've bought frozen savory tamales. Last time I looked for tamales there, they only had some flavored sweet ones in stock.
