HELP! Out of parchment paper

Just started making biscotti and realize that I don't have parchment paper (or waxed paper). Ricipe balls for doing the first bake on parchment paper. Could I get away with aluminum foil? Buttered cookie tin? Buttered and floured cookie tin? Any recs appreciated.

    1. I seem to recall my mother once making do with regular notebook paper when she was in a similar situation.

        me too- I think she buttered one side of it.....

          Mine would lightly oil a clean brown paper bag.

          1. Thanks everyone for your thoughts. Love the various mom-remedies. I ended up just buttering up the pan and everything worked out gang-busters.
