Fernando Valley business cas dinner

bastaLA May 8, 2007 07:42 PM

Good evening...Looking for an early casual business dinner (6:30) in the valley next Monday-Studio City, Sherman Oaks etc. Ideally, full bar and nice ambience though good food is paramount (too much to ask?). All recommendations are welcome.

Thank you.

What about Daily Grill at Ventura and Laurel Canyon?

I also like La Frite on Ventura -west of Kester (I think). Casual bistro -I enjoy the food-especially the french onion soup and the moules frites. The noise level ins condusive to getting business done. Good bar service too.

Ca de Sol (did I spell it right?) Italian on Lankershim is also very good-more upscale in ambience and food preparation/presentation -close to Universal and a lot of business gets done there too in an elegant environment.

      Pinot Bistro
Roy's, Ruth's Chris, or Villa Piacere in WH

In addition to the mentioned venues try:

Boneyard Bistro on Ventura and east of Woodman - although it may be a bit noisy inside, they do have front patio. Some nights are 1/2 price off their extensive beer list or wine bottles. I don't remember if they have a full bar though.

Mistral on Ventura and Dixie Canyon - Great atmosphere and very tasty - must try the chicken with mushroom sauce, other dishes are just as wonderful.
