Need a fun place in the E50's

rlk814 May 8, 2007 06:14 PM

Other than "fraternity row" on Second Ave. The one place I thought of was Dos Caminos. Any other suggestions?

I'm surprised no one has suggested Rio Grande. The margaritas are great... blood orange.

if you choose dos caminos it should be approached with the right expectations. not so great food with fun, but predictable vibe....

yes...dos has good margartias, guac and fish tacos. that's it. everything else on the menu has been pretty bad.

I've always liked Divine Bar East on 51st b/w 2nd & 3rd. Bar downstairs, tapas and pretty good wine list upstairs. Go early though - this place can get packed.

Yes, I'd vote for Yakitori Tory's as well. Looks like they fixed the smoke issue in there too.
