Patrick's Roadhouse off PCH - what to order?
Curious as to what is good to order there. They have a burger w/caviar...wondering if anyone has tried it.
When I do visit, it will be my first time visiting the place and my next time probably won't be for a long time.
Can anyone give me some insider tips?

My husband loves that special hodgepodge for breakfast as well and I can't remember what it is called. I have been going to Patricks since I was a kid and love the avacado burgers too (with fries of course). Used to go there on the way to the beach all the time (this goes back 35 years at least!). Loved going there when Bill the owner was alive. They also have a really good BANANA CREAM pie.

They just spotlighted this spot on the Food Network's "Diners, Drive ins and Dives" and talked about the caviar burger along with how they make their corn dogs, What I really want to try is the breakfast that the Governator supposedly inspired. It used to have a German name, but it's basically just a hodge podge of meats, veggies, and eggs that looks pretty damn tasty.

I think of it more in terms of breakfast (great omlete's and wonderful fresh squeezed oj) but I had one of their melts once and it was really good. This is just good, filling, never met a carb I didn't like diner food. Hope you will post your impressions afterwards.
