Mother's Day lunch near Oakville/Burlington border

  • 4

My brother, sister, and I will be taking our mother for lunch on Sunday. Looking for something nicer than a roadhouse, but reasonably priced.

Has anyone tried the Great Lakes Grille on Lakeshore near Burloak?

  1. Try Jakes Grill and Oysterhouse on Walkers Line and QEW ( next to travelodge hotel)
Good fish and seafood and lovely patio.

    1. Try Stoney's on Kerr Street in Oakville..Best brunch in the area, but get there early.

      1. I don't know whether Stoneboats in Bronte Harbour ever reopened after their fire, but they did seem to be rebuilding last summer. They had good food in a lovely setting.

        1. Stay away from the Great Lakes Grille.

The food on the border is dicey at best.
Go into Oakville a little bit and you'll find lots of good places downtown.
Or go into Burlington and find the same.
