Thanks, KingKong5, for your info. Anyone else want to chime in on the food quality? Is there really a lot of strawberry stuff?

there isn't a lot of strawberry stuff, but there is a great stand [huge trailer] that makes a fantastic shortcake with ice cream! the berries are grown locally and a whole section of this strawberry field is grown specifically for the festival!

Think small carnival, like the Orange County Fair on a much smaller scale. Some ethnic specialties (papusas, gyros/kebabs, eggrolls), pizza, corn dogs, and carnival rides and game booths.

try the sausage sandwiches at the Job's Daughters booth [they have been there for years]. The sandwiches are great and it is consistent year after year!

I didn't get the sausage (though it smelled INCREDIBLE), but I had the shortcake from Job's Daughters, and it was totally worth the 10-15 minutes in line. The other food is carnival normal stuff.
