looking for fine dining in Metrowest

Looking for new places to go in Metrowest. Love Tomasso's, Oga's, John Stone's in Ashland. Hate Blue Ginger, Metro 9. Trying Maxwell 148 next month. Thanks!

Had a very good meal at metro9 last saturday. White tablecoths, good service, though a little too freindly. We started with greasless fried calamari on a tasty tomato puree with cherry peppers.
I had steak dianne, a perfect mr sirloin with cognac cream sauce, good mashed 1 asparagus spear and 1 baby carrot. Dc had a sliced sirloin with blue cheese mashed, same meager veg garnish. Sauteed spinach was nice and garlicky, King Pinot was 48, just saw it at TJ's for 22.
But, my favorite is still the parlor in Upton.

Vela in Wellesley is quite nice with good solid Italian food. White tablecloth, good service. I understand that they have a patio in summer but have not seen it. The mushroom lasagna and home made fettucini with seafood are both excellent.

Lumiere is fantastic. How about Il Capriccio or La Compania in Waltham? Both great places.

How about Lumiere in West Newton?
