Pierogis @ Skip's Roadside Diner (Gill) [Moved from Boston Board]

Anyone been to Skip's Roadside Diner on Route 2 in Gill (just outside Greenfield) lately? My husband and I had a fabulous lunch of pierogis, kielbasa and kapusta there last year and wondering if it's always that good.

i was just here on sunday, taking a leisurely ride home via route 2 from saratoga. the polish combo was fantastic for 7$, and the guy who runs the place was really nice. my buddy who had a burger instead of attempting the polish specialties also said his food was really good for 3$ a burger. a recommended stop if you're out that way.

I just looked up Gill. My wife went to Northfield( a WASP-Pollack union). When we visit NMH, we will defininately not skip Skip's! Thanks!

Is their a lot of slavic/polish food at Skips? Gulumpkies, Potatoe (Pie) bread etc. to go with the Pierogis, Kielbasa and Kaputsa?
