Yummy avocado spread/dressing recipe.

Try this, gang:

1 ripe haas avocado, diced
t tsp olive oil
3-4 cloves garlic, crushed
3 tsp lemon juice
1tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 -3tbsp honey
dash salt
twis or two of fresh gound pepper

blend in immersion blender till smooth

To make more of a "green goddess" dressing, add more olive oil

I had it spread on warm fluffy greek pita with red onions, cukes and warm falafel.

I just had it on poached salmon. Interesting, but yummy!

I also think it would be good on a bagel.

I'm going to do it without the garlic and try it on cake,or ice cream!

This sounds absolutly fantastic! I would of never thought of using honey and avocado together but I can't wait to try. I am sadden that I just ate my last avocado in a salad I made myself last night. I guess I will have to make a trip to the store tonight!

You can make a great smoothie with an avocado, lemon or lime zest and juice, milk or soy milk and a good squeeze of honey!

well, the recipe I posted reads 1 tsp..you can add more for more viscosity...the avocado adds enough for a spread, but I'd say you could use as much as you wanted to make it thinner..but try not to go over 1/4 cup!
