Bin Cafe or Websters Wine Bar

Am taking my daughter out for a special birthday dinner tonight. Wanted to do a wine bar with comfortable (not stuffy) atmosphere with good food and have narrowed it down to either Bin Cafe or Webster's Any recommendations on which would be a more enjoyable atmosphere and food experience??

I prefer the wine selection at Websters -- it seem to me it's much broader, but I prefer the food at Bin 36.

sorry, I didn't mean Bin 36 there, but Bin Wine Cafe. Also, Bin has a lovely weekend brunch. You won't ned to eat again all day!

They are both good. I'd say that the atmosphere at Webster's is more bar/lounge and the atmosphere at Bin Wine Cafe is a bit more restaurant.

I haven't been to Bin Cafe, but I love Webster's. It is definitely not stuffy, the food is good, and they often have live music.

Also, if Bin Cafe is anything like Bin 36 (same ownership, right?), it will be much colder and stuffier than Websters.

        Have fun tonight!

I haven't been to Webster's, but Bin Wine Cafe is anything but cold or stuffy. It's a great place, with very good food and a very comfortable atmosphere.

Not sure where you ended up, but Bin Cafe is awesome. Compared to Webster's, the food is 10 times better and wine as good or better. Bin 36 did a really nice job of creating a neighborhood wine bar with Bin Cafe and not just copying Bin 36 in mini form. It's a great place to linger.

Thanks for all the input. We ended up going to Bin Wine Cafe and loved it!! It was nice enough that the front garage door was open and had a table right up front, which was great for people-watching! We enjoyed a wine flight and crab cakes for an appetizer. Then split a spring pea mint ravioli with lamb ragout - absolutely delicious. And the layered chocolate mousse and another glass of cabernet was devine! My daughter really loved Bin Wine Cafe and as part of her gift will be taking a wine class. Thanks again for the recs.... they helped make a perfect night!
