Buenos Aires - Lo de Jesus report

Excellent late lunch here. Fantastic atmosphere - according to the Bon Appetit article that recommended it, it was previously a corner grocery store. Black and white tiled floors, ancient yellowing framed pictures on the wall, high ceilings, fogged mirrors, chalkboards - it´s like the fantasy of a French brasserie, except Argentinian. If that makes any sense.

Great bife de lomo, perfectly cooked on a wood-burning grill (an order was plenty for two people), and excellent grilled vegetables (especially savory from sharing grill space with meat - strict vegetarians beware). At least ten wines by the glass. Total cost was roughly $12 (American) per person.
