Had a business meeting in Montpelier, VT and checked the boards before going. Found a new place worth going to. Wayside Restaurant & Bakery. This is where the locals go! Reasonably priced. On route 302, town line of Berlin and Montpelier. This is one place that I will go back to!

Take your pick. It has breakfast until 4, sandwiches, burgers, dinners, salads. One of my favorites is the hot turkey sandwich, the hot pork sandwich is good as well. And their desserts are also good, I'm partial to the grapenut pudding.

I'm sure you'll be able to find something you like. It's typical diner food, but tons of choices and its comforting and delicious.

There's also atypical diner fare like fresh lake perch in season, venison stew, fried pickled tripe...

...and the maple cream pie, mmmmm!

The Wayside is the best! Glad you enjoyed it. Where else can you get great food and martinis for I think $2.50 or $3?! :-)
