Charleston and Beaufort

I am planning three days in Charleston and one day in Beaufort. Would greatly appreciate your suggestions for lunch in Beaufort and lunch and dinner in Charleston. Doesn't have to be fancy, just great food. Also, we will be staying at Folly Beach. Any suggestions for seafood take out for the first night. Thanks so much....JVM

  1. In Beaufort I would head to Luthers at the city dock. I eat their when ever I go down to my boat. You will find several good places in that area. Beaufort is a neet place.

    1. Sgt. White's Diner in Beaufort
Bowen's Island just reopened on Folly Beach
The Old Post Office on Edisto Island ( a little out of the way but well worth it )
      FIG in Charleston

Second the rec. for Bowen's Island. I haven't been since they re-opened but enjoyed it quite a bit a few years back. Is it too late in the year for oysters?

try Carolina's in Charleston, or The Boathouse Restaurant

          1. Slightly North of Broad (SNOB) in Charleston is very good, and I would go to Jestine's Kitchen for lunch.
