Thai fast food at 4th and howard?

Is this joint any good? I believe it is called Cha-am. Any relation to the other Cha-am on Folsom and 3rd?

I tried it about a year ago when I was in a hurry and didn't think it was anything special. The pad thai was OK at best. I remember it being a lot of cheap thai food. Cha-am on Folsom and 3rd is maybe a 5 minute walk from the Cha-am express and I'd much rather order from the restaurant.

I had lunch there while at a conference at Moscone a year or two ago, and honestly I didn't like it at all. I don't remember what I had, but I remember thinking I wouldn't go back.

I'm pretty sure Cha Am Express is the same people as the other one. There's also a branch in Berkeley. OK, nothing special.
