Outside/Open Area Dinner in Baltimore

I am looking to try something new in the Baltimore Area either Fells Point, Canton, Fed Hill or close by for dinner with my friend. Cool drinks, good - reasonably priced food, open air, and not stuffy or dark atmosphere would be great. Any ideas? Want to be able to walk around before and after dinner.

In Canton on Boston St- The Bay Cafe. Right on the water with both indoor and outdoor seating. The outside bar area is sand covered. The food is good, I heard that their shrimp salad is pretty tasty. www.baycafeusa.com

In Canton on the Square- Mama's on the Half Shell. Seafood. Haven't eaten there but is highly reccommended on Chowhound. It's inside seating, but the walls are covered in windows that are usually open.

In Fed Hill on Key Highway- Little Havana. Cuban food. Right on the water with both indoor and outdoor seating. www.littlehavanas.com

In Fells Point- DuClaw Brewery. The food isn't too bad, the beer is good. Both indoor and outdoor seating. www.duclaw.com

The food is good at Bay Cafe? It must have improved a lot in the years since I was last there. At that time it was definitely more about the view (and the drinks) than the food.

You're right, maybe good isn't the best way to describe the food. It's better than just edible, but less than great? I just remember it as a place where the food doesn't disappoint, but it's the view and drinks that make you want to go back again.

Red Fish in Canton has outdoor seating and good food (Canton).

I think Kali's Mezze in Fells Point also has a few outdoor tables. Great small plates, nice to share.

If you're in the Federal Hill/Locust Point area, try The Wine Market. They have outdoor seating and it's fairly private, tucked away and relatively quiet. Drink till your heart's content!

In Canton, I'd recommend Birches. It's on Montford Avenue. They also have outdoor seating and it's very casual. Food is very good, although the staff and kitchen are incredibly relaxed. If you're ready to spend a few hours hanging out, enjoying yourself, then go there.

Thanks for the recommendation. I have been to the Wine Market for brunch and enjoyed it very much. I almost forgot about the outdoor seating.

I've read a few threads about Birches as well, sound like a good choice too.

If you're willing to leave those 3 neighborhoods, you could try B in Bolton Hill, I just went the other night and they have a bunch of tables outside, and it's quite charming neighborhood to walk around, no shops, but cool old houses with neat gardens.

If you're up for a good mexican place, arcos (http://www.restaurantearcos.com/) is a great place to eat outside. Their backyard transports you to another place, totally not a fells point vibe. I think the pictures on their website say it all. Their food is good as well, as are their tequilas.
