Steak and Sushi on 8th SE??

I heard a rumor that they are putting in a nice steak and sushi restaurant on 8th Street SE and was wondering if there was any truth to this. Anybody know anything?

I work on that street. There is construction going on right next to Marty's on a restaurant/bar called Jordan's or Jordan's on 8.

Looks pretty swanky. Hopefully it does better then what was there before--World Cuisine. Were the sketchy owner skipped town owing $1000s.

Oh nice, thanks for the info...perhaps it is the same place. I heard the one they are talking about will have a rooftop deck. 8th street is getting so great!

I'm sure it is the same place. Looks like a rooftop deck is a possibility, similar to the one Marty's has. Looks real chic from the drawings they have outside. It's a narrow space but there will be an upstairs and downstairs. Hopefully it will open soon...although I'm sure if its a steak and seafood spot I won't be able to afford it for lunch...like most of the places in the area now.
