Sweet Cherry Peppers

You know how something has been around for a long time, but you never used them? Such is the case with cherry peppers...I just started adding them to salads, main dishes, etc...Love them...Have not used the hot ones, so don't know how much heat they have...Do you use them? If so..how?

I love them too! Here is a recipe that I use when I have guests over or even sometimes I just make it because I crave them!

    Ingredients
    1 C. seasoned breadcrumbs
    1 C. olive oil
1 medium can of pitted black olives, drained
1 medium jar or can green olives (no pimentos), drained
1/2 tin of anchovies (substitute tuna if desired)
1 gallon jar hot cherry peppers

    Directions
Cut off the tops of the peppers, de-seed and rinse bodies. Set aside. Blend the rest of the ingredients in a blender. Stuff empty pepper shells.

I really like sweet cherry peppers,

I use them on Italian Sausage sandwiches, Italain beef sandwiches, and Philly cheese steak sandwiches. I pull the stem, and throw them in the food processer, and get a rough chop on them and put them on the sandwiches seeds and all. I I like how they compliment the jalapenos, or hot giardiniera that I put on these items.

I like them as is but a classic antipasto item in my house is...cut the top off, remove the seeds, stuff with provolone and prosciutto (either/both) or with a savory cream cheese.
